Meet Kayla
When you hire me, you’re getting more than a photographer. You’re getting someone fully in your corner. I’m fixing your hair, hyping you up, grabbing you water, and quietly handing you a tissue when you need it most.
I’ve learned that the photographer is the only one who sees a wedding day in its entirety, and I take those fleeting moments and shape them into a story you can hold onto.
I’m a Midwest girl at heart, raised on community, slower rhythms, and finding beauty in the simple things. Photography has always been part of my world. My grandfather had his own business, and I was always reaching for his camera, learning early on how to capture what I felt.
I started my business in college, where I spent my time studying settings, composition, and the camera itself. Outside of photography, you’ll find me with an iced latte, laughing with friends, pouring into my community, or dreaming up my next trip. I’m always drawn to people and their stories, and it’s an honor to be invited into yours.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK WITH Me
STEP 01: inquiry
You flip through my portfolio and you decide you like what you see. First things first, you’ll head to the Contact page on this website and fill it out with alllllll the details.
STEP 02: CHAT
I see your inquiry form and I get excited! I’ll reach out via email and we will set up a call to talk details and get to know each other. I’ll also give you my cell number to ensure that you can reach me with any questions you have throughout the process.
Step 03: Book
Once you decide to move forward with me, I’ll send you three things: an invoice for a deposit, a contract to sign, and a welcome guide. We can also decide at this point how often you’d like to meet to touch base. I’m here for you as much or as little as you need!
STEP 04: Timeline & Check-Ins
About 3-6 months from your date, I will send you a questionnaire to check in and offer any assistance you might need. About 2-3 months from your date, we will set up a time to create and finalize your wedding day timeline. The week of your date, I will shoot you a check-in text and confirm my arrival time.
STEP 05: wedding
Let’s get you married! On your wedding day, my role is to capture each beautiful moment. However, I am also there to be a part of your support system and help out in any way I can, even if it’s just to be your hype girl.
Step 06: delivery
You can expect some sneak peek photos to be sent your way one week after the wedding. Finally, I will send your full gallery 4-6 weeks after the wedding so you can enjoy reliving your perfect day in married bliss.
